2014 E Class Estate Mercedes Benz

Mercedes E-Class Estate

With new, efficient engines, new assistance systems and a new design idiom, Mercedes-Benz has comprehensively modernised the E-Class to extend its leading position in the luxury segment even further. In both the Saloom and Estate models no less than eleven new or optimised assistance systems from the future S class celebrate their world premiere. They combine a host of comfort and safety features, all of which Mercedes-Benz refers to as "intelligent drive". They include systems which for the first time can help to prevent accidents with crossing vehicles or pedestrians, active Lane Keeping Assist which can help to prevent accidents with oncoming traffic, or anti-glare continuous high-beam headlamps. As such Mercedes-Benz is underscoring its leading position as a safety pioneer. The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class makes a significant step forward when it comes to efficiency and ecology too. This comes courtesy of new, powerful BlueDIRECT four-cylinder petrol engines featuring sophisticated direct injection technology. This powerful development boost is reflected to exciting effect in the design of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. With its new design the E-Class encapsulates efficiency, intelligence and emotional appeal in a visually superior manner.

2014 Audi RS5 Cabriolet

Dynamic performance where the sky's the limit - the new Audi RS5 Cabriolet entices with a scintillating combination of power and elegance. The four-seat convertible, which is built in Neckarsulm by quattro GmbH, combines its distinctly sporty character with the exhilaration of open-top driving.
The high-revving V8 FSI develops 331 kW (450 hp) from its 4.2 liters of displacement, accelerating the Audi RS5 Cabriolet from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.9 seconds. The seven-speed S tronic and the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system reliably transmit power to the road. The chassis also boasts a wide array of high-tech solutions, ranging from carbon fiber brake discs to the sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC). Sophisticated assistance and infotainment systems round out the offering.
The 4.2-liter FSI delivers 430 Nm (317.15 lb-ft) of torque to the crankshaft between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. It produces 331 kW (450 hp) at 8,250 rpm. The long-stroke naturally aspirated engine develops 79.5 kW (108.1 hp) per liter displacement and special flaps in the exhaust tailpipe vary the sound. The convertible accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.9 seconds - the best in its class. As an option, Audi can increase the top speed from 250 (155.34 mph) to 280 km/h (173.98 mph). The combined fuel consumption of the powerful V8 is 10.7 liters per 100 km (21.98 US mpg).
Thanks to the long ratio of its highest gear, the seven-speed S tronic makes a substantial contribution to efficiency. Drivers can employ the automatic dual-clutch transmission for instantaneous and smooth shifts in the D and S programs, or they can shift manually using the paddles on the steering wheel.

2012 BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition

BMW Motorsport returned to the DTM in 2012 after almost 20 years away, and the results in its comeback year exceeded all expectations. Canadian driver Bruno Spengler won the drivers' title, BMW Team Schnitzer finished in top spot in the team standings, and BMW claimed the manufacturers' honours.
BMW M GmbH is celebrating this success with the unveiling of the BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition. Mimicking the looks of Spengler's racing car, this special-edition model is available exclusively in Frozen Black metallic, while the carbon flaps and gurney, various dark chrome elements, matt black wheels and sections of the race car's livery also betray its close links with the triumphant BMW M3 DTM. The theme is continued by the BMW M stripe design over the CFRP roof and boot lid, BMW M logo to the rear of the front wheel arches and decals in the rear side windows.
Inside the car, the door sill strips replicate Spengler's helmet design and the carbon-fibre interior trim strip bears the newly crowned champion's signature and the car's serial number.
The special-edition model also contains various exclusive interior additions, such as the Alcantara® steering wheel, handbrake lever embroidered with "M Power" lettering, and extended black Novillo leather trim with features in contrasting Palladium Silver.
Technical elements like the Competition package, M Drive, M DCT Drivelogic and the M Driver's Package underline the car's focus on high performance. Equipment including the Professional navigation system, heated seats and Park Distance Control add more "everyday" ingredients to the model.

2014 Jaguar XF-RS

Electrifying performance is provided by the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine which now boasts 550PS and 680Nm - up 40PS and 55Nm respectively over its XFR installation. The increases have been achieved through revisions to the engine management system and optimisation of the flow of air both into and out of the engine.
Fitted with an eight-speed transmission incorporating Jaguar's 'Quickshift' technology (developed for the F-Type), the increase in engine output allows the Jaguar XFR-S to accelerate to 60mph in 4.4 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds) and on to an electronically limited top speed of 186mph (300km/h).

Cayenne Turbo S 2013

The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S assumes top position in the Porsche SUV model range with its engine power of 550 hp (405 kW). With its complex active chassis, the top athlete in SUV clothing surpasses the driving performance of many sports cars. All of the basic Cayenne properties such as versatile offroad capabilities, high ride comfort and superior towing power have been preserved without exception. Its NEDC fuel consumption of 11.5 litres per 100 km is the same as that of the Cayenne Turbo, which makes it more fuel-efficient in relation to its engine power. The new Turbo S model has an extra 50 hp of power compared to the Cayenne Turbo, as well as a torque boosted from 700 Nm to 750 Newton metres, and it converts them into faster acceleration and a higher top speed. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes just 4.5 seconds (-0.2 seconds), and the SUV accelerates to a top speed of 283 km/h (+ 5 km/h).

Toyota GT86 2013

Comprehensive weight saving measures result in a vehicle mass of around 1,200kg.
The flat-four format of the front-mounted boxer engine combines with the lowest driver hip-point of any Toyota production vehicle -just 400 mm- to give the GT 86 an ultra-low centre of gravity of only 460 mm.
Both the powertrain and driving position have been set as low and as far back as possible to optimise balance, giving the GT 86 near-perfect, 53:47 weight distribution. The ideal static weight distribution varies according to engine power; a 51:49 front bias suiting vehicles with approximately 150 hp, a similar chassis with 300 hp better suited to a 50:50 distribution.

2013 Lexus LS Europe Version

With over 730,000 models sold during its 23 year, four generation history (the majority of which are still on the road), the Lexus LS has grown and evolved with the times. Yet is has always remained true to four key genetic traits: The adoption of world first, cutting edge technologies; the highest levels of quality combined with a uniquely Japanese sense of style and detail; unrivalled cabin quietness; and the smooth, comfortable ride befitting a premium segment luxury sedan.

2013 Dodge Viper SRT GTS

The wait is finally over. Dodge... excuse us, SRT has officially pulled the wraps off the 2013 Viper, and it's everything we were hoping it would be. Let's discuss numbers: 640 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque from a front/mid-mounted 8.4-liter V10 and the best power-to-weight ratio of any Viper ever built.

BMW 750Li ( 2013 )

Other than the V-12–powered 760Li, every 7-series model will see significant upgrades to its powertrain. The 750i (and long-wheelbase 750Li) still use a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8, but BMW has added Valvetronic—its variable valve timing and lift system—to this engine. It helps pump up output from last year’s 400 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque to 445 and 480.

2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider

  • Power comes from the same beastly twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 as the coupe. It can spin all the way up to 8500 rpm and produces 617 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Peak twist is available at 2,000 revs, so flirting with the redline isn't necessary for strong acceleration.
Zero-to-60 mph flashes by in just 3.1 seconds, while completing the quarter-mile takes 10.8 ticks.

    2013 Dodge Avenger Blacktop Edition

For the Avenger, the Blacktop pack adds a gloss black grille, dark-tinted headlamp bezels, a body-colored rear spoiler and unique 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels. And if you don't want to go for the full-on murdered out black car approach, Dodge will offer the Blacktop package on Avengers painted in red, white, tungsten and silver, as well. Here on the 2013 Avenger, the Blacktop treatment adds $595 to the car's MSRP, and can even be had with additional options like the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, premium audio system and navigation – for some extra coin.

2012 Rolls Royce Phantom Series II

Complementing the already stout 453-bhp, 531 lb.-ft. of torque, direct-injection 6.7-liter V-12 engine is an even smoother ZF 8-speed automatic transmission that makes the Phantom accelerate to speed with conviction much like a jetliner taking flight. The added benefit of more gears also improves the car’s fuel consumption by 10 percent. For more spirited drivers, available for the first time is a dynamic package that includes stiffer anti-roll bars, suspension and sportier gearbox and brake calibrations.

This is what you called A luxury Automobile

    2013 Aston Martin AM310 Vanquish

The Vanquish retains the 5.9-liter 12-cylinder, but upgraded to produce 565 hp at 6750 rpm. It served up 510 hp in the DBS. Maximum torque is 457 lb-ft at 5750 rpm, up from 420 lb-ft. Aston declined to adopt direct injection—"the benefits are not worthwhile," an engineer told us. Top speed will be around 183 mph, 0 to 60 mph comes up in a claimed 4.1 seconds, and 0 to 100 takes less than 10. When developing the car, the engineers didn’t see any benefit to fitting an eight-speed automatic, and so the Vanquish keeps the ZF6HP six-speed box of the DBS. Sadly, there is no manual transmission.
